Who We Help

Supporting Cancer Patients Who Need Financial Assistance

At the Integrative Cancer Foundation of British Columbia (ICFBC), we help individuals facing financial barriers access integrative cancer treatments that may improve their health, treatment outcomes, and overall well-being.

Cancer treatment is expensive, and many complementary therapies that support recovery are not covered by traditional healthcare plans. Our mission is to ensure that patients who wish to explore integrative therapies are not denied access due to financial constraints.

Who Qualifies for Assistance?

We provide financial support to:

1. Individuals Diagnosed With Cancer
  • Patients actively undergoing cancer treatment who need assistance with integrative therapies.

  • Those seeking complementary treatments that work alongside conventional care to improve quality of life.

  •

2. Patients Facing Financial Hardship
  • Those who cannot afford integrative cancer treatments due to limited income or lack of insurance coverage.

  • Individuals who have exhausted their financial resources paying for medical expenses.

  •

3. Residents of British Columbia
  • Our financial assistance program currently supports residents of British Columbia.

  • Patients must be receiving treatment from a licensed healthcare provider within the region.

What Support Do We Provide?

We offer financial grants to help cover the costs of selected integrative treatments, including:

  • High-dose vitamin C therapy

  • Mistletoe therapy

  • Nutritional and immune support therapies

  • Dichloroacetate (DCA) therapy

  • Photodynamic therapy

  • Hyperthermia treatments

  • Other evidence-based complementary therapies that support cancer care

We do not provide medical advice or treatment directly, but we offer financial assistance to eligible patients so they can access care through their chosen healthcare providers.

Why We Do This

No one should be denied access to care that could improve their quality of life simply because they cannot afford it. We believe that every cancer patient deserves the opportunity to explore all available treatment options and receive the best possible support during their journey.

With the help of our donors, partners, and volunteers, we are breaking down financial barriers so that patients can focus on healing—not on how to pay for treatment.

If you or someone you love needs financial assistance for integrative cancer care, we are here to help.
